Coconut, Cacao & Beetroot Squares
This sublime raw, vegan and gluten free dessert is packed full of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
Step one
- 1 cup raw ground nuts. Almonds, cashews, pecans and brazil nuts work great.
- 1 cup raw ground cacao beans
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
- 12 ground dates
- ¼ cup water
Blend the ingredients until it forms a homogenized dough, add water as needed. Stretch the dough on the bottom of a dish.
Step two
- 2 cups grated coconut
- ¼ cup beetroot powder
- ¼ cup agave or maple syrup
Blend the ingredients together until a homogenized dough is formed, add water as needed.
Stretch the dough over step one.
Cut into cubes and serve.
